Works with your theme

Keep your theme. Keep your WooCommerce checkout.

Craftor controls the pages you build with it. Your other pages keep their existing theme design, and WooCommerce still handles stock, the basket and payments.

I completed an order with each theme shown above. Your shop keeps WooCommerce's own checkout, including its block and classic layouts.

Keep your search tools too. Rank Math and Yoast can read your Craftor pages. Add your own product descriptions and shop details to help customers and search engines understand your business.

Why I built it

A shop selling made-to-order products needs more than photos and a Buy button. Customers need to send sizes, choose materials, upload drawings and ask for prices that fit the job.

I built Craftor to put those parts in the page editor, alongside the ordinary pages every shop needs. Northgate Signs, Halstead Glass, Fen Edge Covers, Ashcroft Panels and Aurelin Jewels are included example designs. You can use one as a starting point and make it your own.

If your shop needs a section that is missing, tell me how you would use it. If I add it to Craftor, it will be available to everyone.

ConfigKit or Craftor?

Both let customers choose product options and see their price. The difference is whether you want to build the shop pages too.

Craftor includes ConfigKit. Buy Craftor alone if you want both tools.

Both are plugins for your own WordPress website with WooCommerce. You supply hosting, a domain, products and prices, then set up and check the shop. A custom build by me is a separate service.

Not sure? Tell me what you sell and I will say which one fits. If the smaller one does the job, I will tell you that too.

Before you buy

Your questions about Craftor.

What do I need to use Craftor?

Your own WordPress website with WooCommerce installed. You provide the hosting, domain, products and prices. Craftor gives you the page builder, starting designs and tools to take custom orders.

Craftor or ConfigKit: which should I buy?

Choose ConfigKit if you want to add the ordering form while keeping your shop design or building it with another tool. Choose Craftor if you also want its editor and starter designs to build or redesign shop pages. Craftor includes the full ConfigKit plugin, so buy Craftor alone if you want both.

Do I have to change my theme?

No. Craftor pages use the design you choose in its editor. Your theme continues to control the pages you build outside Craftor.

Are product options included?

Yes. The full ConfigKit plugin is included in your Craftor purchase for product choices, calculated prices, uploads and quotes. You do not need to buy ConfigKit separately. Already own it? Ask me about moving to Craftor before buying.

Can I build pages as a beginner?

Yes. Start with a ready-made shop for your trade and change its words and photos. The setup bar shows what to do next, and you can find extra sections in Search and drag them onto the page.

How much of the design can I change?

All of it: words, photos, colours, fonts, sizes and space, rows and columns, and the header, footer and menus. The common changes come first, and every exact setting is one click away. Computers, tablets and phones can each have their own sizes and space. Save a section to use on other pages, and bring back any of the last 20 versions as a draft.

Will it replace my existing pages?

It can replace pages at the same addresses, such as About or Contact. Craftor lists them before it starts, so you can untick any you want to keep; example products cannot be bought until you have checked their prices.

Can I publish a starter shop as it is?

Use it as a starting point. Replace the example words, photos, prices and contact details with your own. Reviews start empty; add real customer reviews before publishing the Reviews page.

What happens when my year is up?

Your existing pages keep working, but updates and help stop until you renew. The pay-once plan includes both for life.

Can Google read my shop pages?

Yes. Craftor makes your page content, product details and shop contact details available to Google, and works with Rank Math and Yoast for search titles and descriptions. This helps Google understand your pages but does not guarantee a position in search results.

Which checkout does it work with?

Both WooCommerce checkout layouts, called block and classic, work with Craftor. It also supports both ways WooCommerce stores orders.

Can I keep my site speed plugin?

Yes. Forms and file uploads work with saved copies of pages, often called a cache. Set your speed plugin to skip logged-in customers so trade customers see their own prices.

Where are my customers' files kept?

On your own website, ready for a logged-in shop manager to download from the order or quote request. Your host may need to block direct links to the file folder; unused uploads are removed after seven days.

Can I use it on more than one shop?

Each licence is for one site. If you run more than one shop, tell me and I will sort out a price for all of them.

Can I see it working before I buy?

Yes. Try it here first, and every part of it is explained in the help pages.

Build the shop your products need. Start with Craftor.

Pay yearly or once. Both plans include the page builder, starter shops and product options.

Need help choosing? Ask me, I read every message myself.
