Where B2B WooCommerce stores lose orders.

Three points in a typical quote-to-order workflow where the deal falls apart. Plus what each one costs you.

No.
01

The email loop that never converts.

They ask "how much for 500 of these?" You email back. They ask about lead times. You email back. Three days of back-and-forth and they buy from a competitor with an instant quote workflow. You never even knew you had a lead.

Lost time 2-3 days per quote, before anything ships
No.
02

You cannot tell which quote is waiting on you.

Quote requests pile up in the same inbox as everything else. Which ones did you answer? Which are still waiting? Who was chasing a price last Tuesday? There is no list, no status, and no history, so the ones worth the most money are the easiest to lose.

What it costs you The quotes you forget to answer
No.
03

Contact Form 7 isn't a quote workflow.

Wholesale buyers want to add specific products to a quote, attach a brief, set quantities, and get a formal price back with a payment link. A generic contact form tracks none of that. Doesn't notify them. Doesn't convert to an order. Doesn't look professional.

Conversion Zero. Contact forms don't sell.

Quotly fixes all three.

The free plugin is not a trial. It works fully, forever, with no account and no time limit.

From Customer Request
To Paid Order, In Five Steps.

No external services. No third-party tools. Everything happens inside your WooCommerce store, from the first quote button to the final payment.

1

Customer Adds to Quote Basket

Add to Quote button alongside Add to Cart, or hide Add to Cart and show Add to Quote instead. Per-product override available.

2

They Submit the Form

Name, email, company, custom fields. reCAPTCHA v3 protects against spam quietly in the background.

3

You Review & Accept

Quote lands in your admin with all customer details. Mark it as Accepted, then set your final per-line prices and click Convert.

4

Plugin Emails Pay Link

Polished email with the accepted quote and a payment link. Optional PDF attachment included.

5

They Pay. Order Created.

Standard WooCommerce checkout. Real order, pending payment. Hits all your existing fulfilment tools.

Sits beside your store, never on top of it.

Your regular cart, checkout, and orders work exactly as before. Quotly runs in parallel, quotes stay quotes, orders stay orders.

What Quotly Pro adds.

The free plugin runs your quote desk. Pro adds the tools that close the sale and save you the manual work.

Polished PDF quotes

Sends a clean, branded PDF quote your customer can download, save, or forward to their boss for sign-off.

Quotly Pro

PDF quotes and private share links

Ask exactly what you need to give an accurate quote. Project deadline, file uploads, delivery address, whatever it takes. Add fields from a dropdown, no code.

Quotly Pro

Analytics dashboard

See your top customers, your conversion rate, total quote value, and accepted vs declined at a glance.

Quotly Pro

Quote expiry and reminders

Set quotes to auto-expire so they don't sit pending forever. Optional reminder email hits the customer's inbox before it lapses.

Quotly Pro

Connect to Zapier, your CRM, anything

Push new quotes into your CRM, Zapier, or accounting tool the moment they come in. If your tool is offline, Quotly keeps trying. Each push is signed so your tool knows it really came from your store.

Quotly Pro

Developer API access

If you have a developer, they can build whatever you need on top of Quotly. Custom dashboards, app integrations, internal reports, your call. Quotly has a proper API for them to work with.

Quotly Pro

Bulk CSV import

Coming from another tool? Drop your old quotes into a spreadsheet and Quotly imports them. Sample CSV included so you know the format.

Quotly Pro

Customer-suggested price

Let buyers propose what they'd like to pay. You see their offer and accept, decline, or counter.

01

Quote capture

How quotes start
Add to Quote button

Show alongside Add to Cart, hide Add to Cart, or turn it off per product.

Quote basket, separate from cart

The quote basket is its own thing. Nothing touches your regular cart or your database until the customer actually submits.

Mini basket and shortcodes

A small quote counter for your menu, plus [quotly_basket] and [quotly_basket_count] to drop the basket anywhere.

Cart to quote button

Optional button on the cart or checkout that turns a cart the shopper already built into a quote request.

Per-product override

Force quote-only on specific products. Set on the product edit screen.

reCAPTCHA v3 protection

Modern invisible spam protection. Optional, with adjustable threshold.

02

Admin workflow

How quotes get processed
Admin quotes screen

Custom columns, status filters, search. Works just like the Orders screen.

Status pipeline

Every quote moves through Pending, then Accepted or Declined, with a full audit trail and timestamps. Pro adds the Converted step when you turn it into a paid order.

Quote-to-order conversion

One-click conversion to a real WooCommerce order. Adjust per-line prices on the way.

Internal notes

Admin-only notes on every quote. Never sent to the customer.

Create a quote yourself

Took the enquiry on the phone? Build the quote in the admin on the customer's behalf, pick products, set quantities and prices.

Sequential quote numbers

Every quote gets a number like Q-1001. Set your own prefix, starting number, and optionally the year.

Bulk actions

Select several quotes and mark them accepted or declined, or export them to CSV.

03

Customer experience

What buyers see
Customer "My Quotes" tab

New tab in My Account showing the customer's full quote history.

Lifecycle emails

Free sends four: new quote, quote received, accepted, declined. Pro adds reminder, expired, and the two message emails. All editable in WooCommerce.

04

Developer layer

For builders and agencies
Customizable for developers

Every lifecycle event has a hook. Your developer can customize anything, anywhere.

Translation ready

Full text-domain coverage. Works in any language, including right-to-left.

The Admin Side That Actually
Helps You Close Quotes

Most RFQ plugins drop quotes into a generic post type. Quotly's admin is built for the actual job: triaging incoming quotes, negotiating prices, and turning them into paid orders without leaving WooCommerce.

A letter from the founder

DevTonic Studios Makers of Quotly

Hi,

I built Quotly on my own and I still run the support inbox myself. So if something breaks because of the plugin, or you just can't figure out a setting, I'm the person who's going to write back. Not a chatbot. Not a support rep working off a script.

You'll usually hear from me within 12 hours, with the actual code or steps you need to paste in. If I can't sort out what's wrong inside 48 hours of you writing in, your money comes back. A full refund, within 14 days of the purchase. No forms.

The honest reason I can offer this is that the team is one person right now. I read every email myself, so the bar is whatever I'd want from a plugin I'd paid for.

Is this really a Request a Quote plugin or something else?
Yeah, technically. The difference is what you get without paying. Most free quote plugins give you a form and an email. Quotly free gives you the full admin screen, one-click accept and decline, status history, internal notes, and a quotes tab in My Account. That is the part shops actually live in.
Do I need WooCommerce?
Yes. Quotly is a WooCommerce extension and won't function without it. Customers add real WooCommerce products to a quote basket, and accepted quotes convert into real WooCommerce orders that hit all your existing fulfilment tools.
Do I need coding skills to use it?
Nope. Install, activate, go to WooCommerce → Quotly, pick your settings. The custom field builder is point-and-click. The form builder is point-and-click. Most stores are live in under 10 minutes.
What kind of support do I get?
Email support direct from the developer who wrote the code. Replies within 12 hours, often faster. If something's broken with your theme or another plugin, we dig in and fix it. If you'd rather not deal with setup, we'll configure your store for you.
What types of stores need this?
Any WooCommerce store where prices depend on the order. Print shops, custom manufacturing, wholesale catalogs, B2B stores, custom signage, made-to-order products, services with variable pricing. Anywhere "Add to Cart at fixed price" doesn't fit.
How is this different from other quote plugins?
Other quote plugins are real plugins that work. Two things are different here. The free version is a working quote desk rather than a lead form, so you can run a real workflow without paying anything. And when you do want the closing tools, you can pay yearly or pay once, rather than being locked into a renewal.
How quickly can I get started?
Install takes about 30 seconds. Configuration takes 5-10 minutes if you're using defaults. Add custom form fields and you're looking at maybe 15 minutes total. The Add to Quote button can be live on your shop today.
What if I'm not happy with it?
14-day conditional refund. If you hit a technical issue we can't fix, or if Quotly doesn't work as described on this page, contact support and we'll resolve it or issue a refund. We ask for 48 hours to investigate before processing any refund.
Is Quotly compatible with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)?
Yes - declared compatible from version 1.0.0. Quotly uses WC_Order methods rather than direct post queries, so it works correctly whether your store has HPOS turned on or off.
Will it work with my theme and page builder?
Yes - Quotly works with any standard WooCommerce-compatible theme. The Add to Quote button uses standard WooCommerce hooks so it slots in next to Add to Cart. Templates can be overridden from your theme using the standard WooCommerce template-loading pattern: drop your overrides into yourtheme/quotly/ following the same folder structure as the plugin's templates/ folder.
Will Quotly slow down my store?
No. The frontend assets only load on pages that actually need them - the product page (for the button) and the quote basket page (for the form). The rest of your store stays fast. Webhooks fire async via WP-Cron so they don't block requests.
Where does the quote basket live?
In the WooCommerce session - the same place as the regular cart. The two are completely separate, so the quote basket doesn't pollute the WC cart and vice versa. Nothing is stored in the database until the customer actually submits the quote.
Can a guest customer (not logged in) submit a quote?
Yes. Guests can add products to the basket and submit. The submitted email is the only customer identifier in that case. When the quote is converted to a WooCommerce order, the customer can pay using the standard guest checkout.
Can I customize the email subject and body?
Yes - every Quotly email shows up under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails, exactly like WooCommerce's own emails. Subject, heading, recipients, and email type (HTML or plain text) are all editable from there. You can also override the templates from your theme.
Is reCAPTCHA required?
No - it's an opt-in setting under WooCommerce → Quotly → Form. We use reCAPTCHA v3 (the invisible one), not the broken v2 checkbox that customers hate. Free reCAPTCHA v3 keys come from google.com/recaptcha/admin.
Is the REST API documented?
Yes. Routes live under /wp-json/quotly/v1 - list, create, read, update, delete, and convert-to-order endpoints. Auth is via cookie (logged-in admin) or Application Password. All endpoints require manage_woocommerce. Full reference is in the documentation.
What are the minimum requirements?
WordPress 6.0+, WooCommerce 7.0+, PHP 7.4+. We recommend PHP 8.1+ for best performance. Tested up to WP 6.6 and WooCommerce 9.0. Works on shared, VPS, or managed WordPress hosting.
How does the pricing work?
The Quotly plugin itself is free from WordPress.org. These prices are for Quotly Pro, the paid add-on, and you choose how to pay. Yearly: Solo $49, Studio $149, Agency $249. Or pay once and keep it: Solo $99, Studio $299, Agency $499. Same features either way. The tier only decides how many sites you can use it on: 1, 5, or unlimited.
What do I get without paying anything?
The free plugin from WordPress.org runs your whole quote desk: the Add to Quote button, the quote basket, the admin screen with filters and search, one-click accept and decline, status history, internal notes, bulk actions, and a quotes tab in My Account. No account, no trial, no time limit. Pro adds converting a quote into a paid order, PDFs, custom form fields, expiry reminders, price negotiation, analytics, and the API.
How long do I get updates for?
On a lifetime plan, forever. You pay once and every new feature, fix, and WooCommerce or WordPress compatibility patch arrives in your dashboard with no renewal. On a yearly plan, updates and support run while the licence is active, and the plugin keeps working if you stop. The free plugin gets updates forever either way.
What's your refund policy?
14-day conditional refund. If Quotly has a technical issue we can't resolve, or it doesn't work as described on this page, contact support with details. We ask for 48 hours to investigate before processing a refund.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. Upgrade from Solo to Studio or Agency any time. You pay just the difference between what you originally paid and the new tier's price. Email Hamza and we'll set it up.
Is there a free version?
Yes - a free version of Quotly is available on WordPress.org. It covers the basics: Add to Quote button, basket, submission form, admin management, and 4 emails. The Pro version adds PDFs, custom form builder, analytics, webhooks, REST API, bulk import, expiry, and suggested price.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, PayPal, and local payment methods. Secure checkout through industry-leading processors.
Discounts for nonprofits or education?
Yes. Email support with proof of nonprofit or education status and we'll send a discount code.
