Beyond the basics, PriceWise has a set of tools for shops and trades that price by size, options or quantity. Here is what is under the hood.
Two Ways to Price
- Per-field rate – No formula needed. Give a field a rate (per unit, per m², and so on) and the calculator does the maths.
- Formula – Full control with your own expression. As well as + – × ÷ you can use functions like min(), max(), round() and ceil(), plus if/then conditions.
Pricing Rules
Switch these on per calculator, no formula edits needed:
- Waste % – Add a margin for offcuts on measured products.
- Round up to units – Sell in whole sheets, rolls or packs.
- Minimum charge – Never quote below your floor price.
- Setup fee – Add a fixed, one-off fee on top.
Show & Hide Fields (Conditional Logic)
Reveal a field only when it is relevant, for example show “lining type” only after the customer picks “lined”. Build show/hide rules with AND/OR conditions so the form stays short and only asks what matters.
For the Customer, and for You
- Itemised price breakdown – Customers see how the price is built up, line by line, not just a total.
- PDF quotes – A downloadable, branded quote from their configuration.
- Email notifications – Stay in the loop when a quote is configured, and keep the customer informed too.
- Saved to the order & shipping – Every selection is stored with the order, and a measured weight or size can be passed to WooCommerce for shipping.

- Starter templates & guided wizard – Pick a ready-made setup for your trade and the wizard builds the calculator for you.
- Variable products – Choose whether the calculator replaces the price, adds to it, or sets the base price for a variation.
- Edit in the cart – Customers can reopen a configured item from the cart and change their options.
